Level 4-7:
In this class your child will learn and perfect all strokes including but not limited to front crawl, back stoke, breast stoke, elementary back stroke, and the butterfly. SWIM LESSON CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

Mommy & Me
This class is designed for children between the age of 18 months and 3 years old to become comfortable in and around the water so they are ready to learn to swim.  In this class, the parent(s)/guardian(s) will be in the water with their child.  Students will learn water adjustment (water entry and exploring the pool), swimming on front (floating, gliding, leg action), swimming on back (floating, gliding, leg action), blowing bubbles, and underwater exploration.  Again, this class will require the parent/guardian to be in the water assisting the child with each of these skills.

The following classes, the parent does not go into the water with the child, but stays in the lobby watching the class through the glass door/window.  Unless the instructor asks the parent to come onto the pool deck, we appreciate the parent staying in the lobby.

Beginners (3-4 year olds)
In this class, students will hold breath for 6 seconds, jump in at a point without support, flutter kick on front and back 10 yards with or without buoy, back float from the wall no support, swim on front 3 yards no support, front and back glide 2 body lengths.

Intermediates (4-5)
Students must be able to pass out of all items in beginner class to move into intermediates.  Intermediates will learn, rhythmic breathing, jump into deep water, retrieve object on the bottom of the pool, and coordinate the front crawl and back crawl strokes also beginning diving from side of pool.

Advance (6+)_
Students must be able to pass out of all items in Intermediate class to move to advance.  Students will build stoke confidence and endurance.  Students will refine their front crawl, back crawl, be introduced to breast stroke and butterfly, as well as basics of turning.
